Every arc has a hard chapter
Mine began in Glasgow, in a job I was scared to leave.
I’d moved there for a master’s in marketing, after quietly building a faceless YouTube channel about health and realising I needed more knowledge to grow it. Afterwards I worked as a video editor at a creative agency, far from home. The job was slowly wearing me down. I was exhausted and stuck, and afraid of losing the only thing keeping me afloat.
In February I left. It cost me my stability, and for a while it was a hard place to be. But I had one thing going for me: a skill the market needed. So I started freelancing.
I began helping psychologists and therapists get their videos out. I knew what those words can do for someone who’s struggling, because I’d been on the other side of them. So I edit slowly, carefully and with respect.
As the work grew, I started bringing in people I trust. That’s how Major Arc came together: a small team of editors and a project manager, working from Bangalore and all here to make sure your voice reaches the people searching for it.
It’s named after my dog, Major, and after the idea that everyone goes through a hard chapter and comes out the other side. We just want to be the crew behind you while you help others through theirs.
